The "Vaping Illness" Madness: What's Really Happening?

Let’s take a moment to address what we’ve been hearing about in the news lately, "The Vaping Illness". Vaping, specifically eCigarettes, are under attack again. I know, AGAIN. There’s been misinformation, media hysteria, and as of right now, multiple flavour bans across US states. How did this happen? Where did it come from? And what’s the real threat? Well, don’t worry, we’re clearing the air (no pun) on the whole situation for you. 

As of late, multiple people have been getting sick, some of who tragically lost their lives. This illness was deemed “The Vaping Illness” by multiple US media outlets. It all started fast and spread like wildfire. After a couple days, many sources started reporting the main culprit, black market THC cartridges that contained Vitamin E Acetate. Vitamin E Acetate was used in these black market THC cartridges as a cost saving solution to deliver the THC and flavour at a lower cost. Unfortunately, Vitamin E Acetate is not meant to be inhaled, as the oil coats lungs causing breathing problems and resulting in pulmonary disease. Of course, if these black market THC cartridges were made in a certified lab, they would've known this. It is extremely important that everyone is educated on exactly what is causing this illness. We’re being misled by media hysteria and misguided by our elected officials who are supposed to be informed for our safety.
